Kristen Bloom is a senior Theatre Arts major and currently the Production Stage Manager and Student Representative for the Theatre Arts Department at the University of the Pacific. Kristen acted as stage manager and lighting designer while she was a part of the Euphorah team. She is currently working on the Threepenny Opera, which marks her fifteenth performance as a part of the stage management team and seventeenth performance overall since she has been at Pacific. She recently had the honor of working as Technical Director for Stockton Opera Association for the second winter. This past summer she worked with Summer Repertory Theatre as an assistant stage manager for Forever Plaid, The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, and The Full Monty.

Outside of the theatre, Kristen is the president of Theta Alpha Phi, Co-chair/secretary of RA Council, a member of COPA, Alpha Lambda Delta, Pacific Rec Sports, and is an Assistant Resident Director. She is currently looking into graduate schools for stage management and student affairs and hopes to keep theatre as a strong presence in her life. She would like to thank her family, friends, and RA staff for being so supportive. Kristen dedicates her work to her grandfather.

As part of Euphorah, Kristen played the critical role of Stage Manager/Light Designer for both “Euphorah: The Mist Sets Here” and “Euphorah: Forever in Twilight” and aided in the production of both.

Her talents and skills are only exceeded by her gracious personality and warming heart which brought peace to a chaotic space and would hold us all in times of need.
